How to Export / Backup Database from cPanel

To perform a database export, you first need to access your cPanel.

Next, find the Backup option as shown in the image below.

Various options will appear, and the one we are interested in is actually:

By clicking on the database, it will offer us to download it, and by doing so, we have performed the database export or database backup.

Export / Backup via phpMyAdmin

In this option, we need to find the phpMyAdmin option in the cPanel, which is in the Databases section. When we open it, first click on our desired database on the left side that we want to export, and then click the Export button on the right side. As shown in the image below.

When we click on it, we will get a page where we just need to click “Go,” and by doing so, we will export the database.
