5 WordPress Site Building Plugins

As easy as managing WordPress may seem with all its options, sometimes it’s quite difficult to align everything and set it up to look exactly the way you want.

Site Building plugins help you overcome design and overall editing issues with a simple drag-and-drop system.

The Divi Builder

Although most closely associated with Elegant themes, The Divi Builder is a fairly robust tool, far more innovative than its peers.

Key advantages:

  • Comes with some existing add-ons, such as a contact form or gallery.
  • Uses a system of rows and columns on pages.
  • Supports click and drag option.
  • Includes both front-end and back-end editing.
  • Allows you to see how your pages look on a mobile phone.

Easy to use

Getting acquainted with this tool takes only a few minutes because it’s very simple to use, but for professional use, it will take a bit longer. Each site builder comes with a range of options, and this one comes with quite a few.

Price

$69 per year, which is quite a lot for our current situation, but it’s worth it for a more serious project.

Beaver Builder

Like any plugin, it works on the same principle.

Key advantages:

  • Comes with a large number of modules that are very easy to use.
  • Uses columns and rows for each module.

Easy to use

Using and learning to work with Beaver Builder is incredibly simple. Since the builder works on the front-end, any changes can be seen immediately. Dragging elements across the page is quite easy, and with one click, you can change the entire page.

Price

The basic version of the plugin is free, but the premium version comes at $99 per year.

Page Builder by SiteOrigin

The first two plugins are great if you need a plugin with quite advanced features and many of them. But if you’re working on a simple site, this plugin is definitely for you.

Key advantages:

  • Works with most modern and newer themes.
  • Works on both front-end and back-end.
  • Displays the site as it looks on mobile versions.

Easy to use

Of all the tested tools, SiteOrigin is the easiest to use. Although it doesn’t come with many options and innovations, its simplicity of use is definitely its virtue.

Price:

SiteOrigin is completely free.

Visual Composer

Visual Composer is very similar to Divi Builder in terms of the number of options. It may even be better when it comes to these two, as it comes with premium add-ons that you can usually find in premium themes.

Key features:

  • Includes over 60 add-ons.
  • Comes with a large number of ready-made layouts.
  • Comes with the option for 150 additional expansion modules.

Easy to use

Ukoliko bi ocenjivali

If we were to rate simplicity of use when comparing with Divi Builder, Visual Composer would have a slight advantage. But if we were to compare design and editing, Divi would come out ahead of this tool.

To have the ability to use this tool, you need to pay $34 per license.
